Pre-Marital Course

A recent study conducted by George Mason University titled “Muslims Marital Health Survey ” reports on the responses from the couples who have gone though a pre-marital counseling course lead to a happy and satisfied family life. It indicated that instead of relying on sometime unworkable cultural solutions to the issues they were able to think “out of the box” in finding alternative solutions and handle disagreements in a mature way resulting in amicable dispute resolution.

This self learning course has been designed based on years of experience in the field. This does not in any way replace guidance of the parents and elders or professional counselors. Hundreds of couples that have benefited from our course report a higher marital satisfaction and success rate.

This course was prepared with the following objectives in mind:

• To better prepare couples who are getting ready to marry.
• To highlight the concerns and questions that the couple might have
• To give the couples understanding of each others thinking and objectively look inwards as to how compatible their thinking is.
• To assist couples in developing skills to navigate their way through marriage successfully
• To identify and highlight areas of difference between couples that may become a source of conflict later and suggest solutions.
