Case Studies

Case Studies

Case studies are an effective way to discuss real life issues in a non-emotional way. Our case studies are fictitious issues based on real stories.

We use case studies, such as these, in our group, couple or individual counseling. Each case study is followed by a set of thought provoking questions. The answers given to the questions are complied for statistical purposes to look at the trend within our community.

Counseling using case studies are a good source of ideas; people open up with what is on their mind. It is a good method to challenge societal norms that one may disagree with, without pointing a finger towards any individual or group of people. It also motivates people to think about their own issues in light of the solutions discussed during the sessions.

A number of case studies have been listed. Please take a moment to comment on each and tell us:

  • If the case is relevant?
  • Share your own experience?
  • Please add to it if you have a different experience?
  • Answer the questions at the end of each case
